About The Artist
Christine Riecke
Christine has lived in the Hudson Valley most of her life and presently resides in Dutchess County. She is the mother of three grown children and five energetic grandchildren. For the past 39 years she has worked as a Registered Nurse. Her nursing experience has taught her the health benfits associated with the mind-body relationship of healing through art.
Having loved working with a camera as a young adult, this talent reawakened when she met her photography mentor. Her portfolio includes landscapes, animals, and flowers.
Christine is a member of the Woodstock Artist Association Museum, WAAM. She has had her images juried into shows at the museum. Her work is displayed and available for purchase in local restaurants and shops, as well as shops on Long Island. While she enjoys capturing her own images, she also assists others to work with their photos.
Today she prints her images on both fine art paper and on canvas. On request she will take a favorite image of yours and bring it to life on canvas, gallery wrapped or framed.
